MDR embarkation linch

Usually the dining room mid ship on deck 6 is open until 1:30. The crew are told to direct you to the buffet but, any time we have managed to be on the ship in the appropriate time frame, we have enjoyed the Embarkation Lunch in the Main Dining Room. My wife "usually" has the Salmon and I "usually" have the Beef Medallions but we have both "changed it up" and have enjoyed options such as the Ravioli. We tend to add in a glass of wine. It's really a nice way to start your cruise and it's also surprising how often you will find yourself with the same server once the cruise actually gets under way.
