Extending FCC

I found this below info on FCC

 

What happens to my FCC if the booking I used it on cancels?

• The Future Cruise Credit will remain attached to your profile until it expires. If you cancel a booking where you used an FCC, it goes back to your profile, and you can re-use it before the expiration date. In the event the original FCC is expired, it will be reissued with a new expiration date.

 

 

I have $400 in FCC expiring at the end of the month. Could I book a cruise, then cancel it and get that FCC back with a new exp date?

I don’t believe so.  It will most likely remain as having the same expiration date.

You are likely going to lose that FCC unless you book a "real" cruise.

Is it bonus money Princess has provided?  In other words, nothing from a cancelled voyage you've paid out of pocket?

 

If only bonus money, it's use it or lose it.
