We just got back from a 9 day holiday cruise on the Venezia.

Highly recommend it for a winter sailing from NYC. It was cold, windy and rough seas the first and last couple of days. They closed the retractable glass roof over the lido deck 10. It was easy to find a quite spot to read on the lido balcony (deck 11). Once we reached the islands, we spent our days at the adults only section on deck 15.

 

We stayed onboard for most port days and enjoyed the ship.

 

We packed inflatable pool floats for HMC instead of renting a clam shell for the day. I'm happy we did since we returned to the ship immediately after lunch.

 

I recommend getting the drink package with so many sea days.
