That’s Elon Musk time. Add 2 to 3 years. They still have to get regulatory approval and launch satellites with bigger antennas.

Starlink residential internet is fantastic in areas one could never dream of having reliable internet access but it is cost prohibitive compared to average home internet costs.

 

I can only imagine what this direct to cell service will cost.

@twangster the way the announcement is written, it seems that anyone who has service with a provider using starlink would have access to starlink satellites. If there's an additional charge I doubt many will be using this.
