Does anyone else think it funny when someone says "gangplank" when they mean "gangway"? One is a way that a pirate lets you off the ship, the other is the way a "cruiser" gets off a ship.

This is not a biggie... just one of those little things - it appears most references to this are incorrect.

 

Consider the phrase "this and that", would it not be odd to hear "that and this" ?

 

Here is an easy way to remember:

 

You "SAIL"... then you SIGN, SIGN, SIGN, SIGN... LOL

 

Yes, this is a pointless post (many are!), but at least I have this out of my system now...

What's more important is should the toilet paper roll tear from underneath or from over the top? This also has been known to tear families apart.
