FYI (to some) ... it is SAIL & SIGN...not SIGN & SAIL

This is not a biggie... just one of those little things - it appears most references to this are incorrect.

 

Consider the phrase "this and that", would it not be odd to hear "that and this" ?

 

Here is an easy way to remember:

 

You "SAIL"... then you SIGN, SIGN, SIGN, SIGN... LOL

 

Yes, this is a pointless post (many are!), but at least I have this out of my system now...

Ha, I also am always worried I'll get the two mixed up, so I too just type S&S...in my case - since I paid with a credit card for the cruise I had to Sign before I sailed. So, I guess mine is a Sign & Sail & Sign card - SSS card.

LMAO....I like the SSS. Cheryl part of the "tom and cheryl" here. You see, Tom has to listen to me say SIGN and SAIL all of the time. And I feel it should be that way....we usually don't SAIL until around 4 or so in the afternoon. And by then I have done quite a bit of SIGNING LOL

Hey pungo3, We just moved to Tally from Gainesville 3 years ago.......I love Gainesville, I miss Gainesville LOL. And you're right, it is a different world lol. Tom lived in Tallahassee most of his life, so I guess we're "home" now. (I'm from PC)

while it may be politically correct that it is Sail & Sign.... after all the threads I've read regarding procedure, etc. it sounds like it should be SIGN, SAIL, AND SIGN AGAIN!

Room stewarT always makes me crazy, too. I couldn't believe it when I saw it in writing that way on some papers in our cabin on the Glory a couple weeks ago! Actually it was written both ways, steward and stewart!

 

What really gets me is when people say "I seen" something instead of "I have seen" or "I saw" -- drives me crazy!

Hi again Tom-n-Cheryl,

Had to go to a meeting so I've been off the boards for a while. I can't believe you lived in Gainesville before Tallahassee. I guess it's not so odd since each town has a major university. I like both towns but I'd have to give the edge to Gainesville. We won't get into the orange/blue or garnet/gold debate. Somethings are better left unsaid. By the way, where is PC? My first guess is Panama City??
