donnavb5 Posted March 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2006 I will be in Nassau this week-end (also in May on my cruise) I would like to find a nice place to eat (not necessarily fancy) for dinner or lunch. Any suggestions?
cruise_pirate Posted March 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2006 You could eat on the boat because they dock and you can walk on and off but do not know of one specific place
yogimax Posted March 21, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2006 If you do get a chance to try something "local," absolutely go for the conch fritters and Bahamian rice.
cruisenk Posted March 21, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2006 I will be in Nassau this week-end (also in May on my cruise)I would like to find a nice place to eat (not necessarily fancy) for dinner or lunch. Any suggestions? There is a great little place that locals frequent called "Twin Brothers". We stayed in Cable Beach last May and the restaurant was between our hotel and downtown Nassau. It was great Bahamanian food!
jenjens1023 Posted March 21, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 21, 2006 Whoever said the Carnival board is getting filled up with posts that should be somewhere else is right. This should in the Ports of Call section.
donnavb5 Posted March 22, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted March 22, 2006 I won't be on the boat this week-end. I'll be staying there at the Atlantis. Don't want to spend tons of money on food there. Anyway thanks for the suggestions and "Twin Brothers" sounds like the trick for one meal.
gatour Posted March 22, 2006 #7 Share Posted March 22, 2006 I will also be on a cruise that will stop in in Nassau this weekend :) There is a place across the street from the Hilton that has pretty good food. It is sport bar-ish in decor. I am planning on having some conch fritters there. I enjoyed them last time I cruised to Nassau. The menu has hamburgers, steaks etc. I have also heard there are some good restaurants on the road from downtown to Atlantis.

BND Posted March 22, 2006 #9 Share Posted March 22, 2006 We thought Senor Frog's food was good. If you go at lunch it's not as wild.
