entertaining young children in Southampton

Recommended Posts

we are cruising out of Southampton end of May

our boarding time is 3pm

we want to travel down earlier in case of traffic issues so anticipate having a few ideas to kill in Southampton

Any suggestions for keeping active toddlers aged 3 and 2 entertained in the area?

How much earlier? Do you mean arriving in Southampton the day before sailing, or are you thinking of earlier than that?

A number of options just outside the city .....

 - Peppa Pig World, at Paultons Park. https://paultonspark.co.uk/

- Marwell Zoo, near Colden Common (animals in enclosures, not cages) https://www.marwell.org.uk/

- Longdown Farm, on the edge of the New Forest near Ashurst https://longdownfarm.co.uk/

In the city

https://kidify.co.uk/day-out/jeffries-jungle (not close to the centre, cruise terminals etc)

- Injoy, https://injoycentres.com/activities/   in Ocean Village. Soft-play. Handy to cruise terminals
