Can you buy wi-fi on a daily basis instead of paying for a package that covers the entire cruise? My mother-in-law has concerns about staying in touch with family in case of an emergency back home. She is looking into an international cell phone plan for duration of trip, but is wanting to be able to be in touch with family on sea days via wi-fi.

You can purchase a 24 hour pass of the Value and Premium plans. The Social plan is only able to be purchased for the entire voyage.

yes that is true. it is in the chart that i posted. that chart is valid for all sailings

I think you can buy multiple 24 hour passes if need be if that is what you're asking. Just take into consideration that pre-purchasing a cruise-long package now locks in your rate today. Carnival has been seriously hiking the prices of their wifi every few months here lately. There's no way to know how much the wifi will cost when you sail unless your cruise is days away.

Exactly - I have purchased multiple days as needed throughout the cruise, but it is a little more expensive to do it that way.

Also, we had wifi in port as well so can figure those days into the decision.

Keep in mind too that the wifi can be shared in a cabin but not at the same time. It requires a login which auto logs the other person off.
