JMKreno Posted January 29 #1 Share Posted January 29 Thought I saw something about this on the forums, but I can't find it. One of our cruising companions apparently created multiple VIFP accounts and carnival.com login is linked to the incorrect account (does not have her previous cruises nor any of her casino offers). We know her correct VIFP number from her last cruise. Is there a way to have carnival combine these accounts? She booked another cruise with the correct VIFP number (linked to our reservation) but we cannot manage it through her account. They aren't the most tech savvy and not sure they'll be able to resolve this themselves if we have them call in. Email would be an easier option but I cannot find an email where we can contact someone directly. Any guidance appreciated!
cthrn27 Posted January 29 #2 Share Posted January 29 I had this problem last summer. I had to call them. And call them. And call them. It was exasperating but they finally took care of it.
nwcruiselover Posted January 30 #3 Share Posted January 30 If you have a PVP, they can take care of it. My husband had the same problem and our PVP took care of it while I was on the phone with him.

The rates were good (and now gone) for the cabins we wanted over the weekend and our PVP wasn't available. With the new rules, since we booked ourselves, the PVP can't assist. bg2310 Posted January 30 #5 Share Posted January 30 Will need to speak with a rep as that's likely and IT thing or something to merge the two accounts together.
Rare Haljo1935 Posted January 30 #6 Share Posted January 30 Yes, they can be merged. You cannot do it yourself (as you probably figured out) and it will take a call to Carnival.
PayneAS Posted January 30 #7 Share Posted January 30 I emailed guestcare@carnival.com back in 2022 when I accidentally created a duplicate VIFP. I told them what my actual number was, what the accidentally created one was, and told them to either delete or merge the extra one. They replied three days later and had it all fixed up.
