tjcletzgo Posted February 7 #1 Share Posted February 7 Does Princess serve tailgate type foods at the Super Bowl show? Also, how early should we go upstairs to get a good seat? Thanks🏈🏈
Rare luvseaside Posted February 7 #2 Share Posted February 7 Haven’t done a Super Bowl cruise in several years. But we went at least 2 hrs before to get a prime seat. They will have popcorn and I believe some items in buffet. Most ships have a burger grill and pizza area by pool already.
satxdiver Posted February 7 #3 Share Posted February 7 It has been a few years since we saw the SB on the ship. On that ship they set up a tail gate on tables outside in the pool area with all types of finger food including chicken. The attendants were busy serving drinks from the bar. Go early!

On Asia / Aus / Kiwi and even Europe cruises, no one really cares. Edited February 7 by EDVM96
riansgrammy Posted February 7 #6 Share Posted February 7 Last year on the Sapphire we were in the explorer’s lounge. There were chips, queso, chicken, cookies and several other things. It was too cold to watch on MUTS. LOTS OF FUN!!! GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!

As an Aussies on a cruise in the Pacific on that day it will be interesting to see what Princess does. It has appeared on the cruise planner (yesterday) as being shown on the ship's big screen, probably because we have a number of North Americans on-board. But you're correct for most of us its going to be of passing interest at best. Edited February 7 by guy01
CruzDayz Posted February 7 #9 Share Posted February 7 The planner for the Discovery shows things starting at noon. It’s going to be a fun day. 😊🏈

The above photos are actually the Super Bowl offerings on a Princess AU/NZ cruise.
Rare luvseaside Posted February 7 #11 Share Posted February 7 (edited) The only complaint is you don’t see the Super Bowl ads. Lol! Edited February 7 by luvseaside

There are two types of ads, national and local. I have seen the national ads. The local ads are not shown the screen is usually a wide shot of the playing field.
