cruisinmelo Posted February 8 #1 Share Posted February 8 Been awhile since I've cruised - pre-Covid - and I can't recall how I checked in for the muster drill on the first day. I have a scooter and two able-bodied adult kids with me, and have notified the cruiseline of my disability. I cannot do stairs or walk long distances. Are the elevators disabled during a drill or not? Thanks for any and all input!
kokopelli-az Posted February 8 #2 Share Posted February 8 What ship / cruise line? Most ships now just have you check in at your muster station. And watch a short muster video via their app. No muster drill like the olden days. Piece of cake.

I've cruised both Royal Caribbean and Carnival since Covid and muster is whenever you want to do it, before sailing. Just be careful going over the hump between the ship and the deck, you'll probably get stuck and have to walk the scooter over. Same for disembarking, you'll bottom out on the ramp.
