Kane Posted February 12 #1 Share Posted February 12 Sort of an unusual location, on the 9th deck, above but not on the pool deck. Would not seem to be a popular location. What sort of hours is it open?
SDuckers Posted February 12 #2 Share Posted February 12 There is also a bar on the pool deck.

We particularly enjoy it when there is a sail away or Epicurean event. 😀

annapolitan369 Posted February 14 #7 Share Posted February 14 Hi Artlee. We are in 918 in august, Montreal to NYC. A very handy bar. Would be interesting to know the hours it is open.

The Observation Bar is very close to 918 as well (one floor up and down the hall). Great for early morning coffee or after dinner drink; very busy for happy hour before dinner. Sky Bar is also next to the starboard smoking area which may make it more or less desirable to passengers with different preferences about that. where-to-next Posted February 14 #10 Share Posted February 14 On a recent Odyssey, New Zealand cruise, the sky bar was seldom open. We sat up there at lunch, when we couldn't get a table at the grill. Interestingly, we will be in 918 on the Quest next week. Obviously a popular cabin!
Bronwyn Posted February 14 #11 Share Posted February 14 Hours are usually 12 noon to 6 pm. On our current Quest Antarctica cruise it has been mostly closed due to inclement weather. However on our Odyssey cruise across the Pacific last year it was openjust about every day and very popular. It’s a nice spot for sail away, early evening drinks or to sit at lunch time if the Patio grill area is busy. The smoking area doesn’t really impact much as the smoke tends to blow away. We are non smokers and we didn’t find any problems using the Sky bar. (Often😀)
Robisan Posted February 14 #12 Share Posted February 14 I'm struggling with the concept of anyplace serving drinks being an unpopular location. 1
