HAL website - Room choices

Hi all you very knowledgeable people.

I am wondering if it is just me, but within the last 3 weeks or so, I have not be able to select a room on the HAL website for ANY cruise I was interested in.  Does anyone know if I am doing something wrong?  I get to the point where a dropdown box comes up asking for cabin number, but it does not go anywhere.

Had the same issue booking my last cruise.

I use a TA but like to see what is available prior to booking with her as it makes it easier for both of us. When I when online I had the same problem as you. My TA however could see all the available rooms.

There is thread about choosing cabins on the Volendam. It seems that room selection does not work for cruises on R-class ships, Volendam and Zaandam.

I have noticed the same thing on the R class ships.  I notified my PCC, he checked on his computer and informed me he saw no problem?

Here no problem. I did a check on the Volendam.

I haven’t been able to see cabins for at least a month. It is so frustrating. I’ve given up and now go to big box store to see what is available.

I just checked cabins on a new booking check and it worked for me.

For some reason I can’t get any further after choosing a cabin category on (any ship) on my iPad but can do so without a problem on my computer.

All this technology is great …….when it works.

 I get the feeling that server / browser  issues are coming into play on something like this , some devices are able to get the task accomplished and some do not. I don’t like it .
