cruisetonowhere10 Posted February 21 #1 Share Posted February 21 Sailing on Edge over the summer to Alaska. Last time I said in Alaska (on DCL) the indoor spaces were freezing…should I expect the dining rooms on Edge to be freezing? Figuring now would be a good time to shop…lol…
Northern Aurora Posted February 21 #2 Share Posted February 21 Last fall we spent 40 nights on the Edge from Italy to Australia (yes -- we went through the Suez Canal). We were traveling through warm climates, and I didn't find the indoor spaces to be over air-conditioned.

I’m not particularly sensitive to cold (I wear flip flops in the north east in the winter and almost never wear a jacket) but that cruise was so so so cold. They brought our kids tablecloths to wrap up in. Lol
Rare Georgia_Peaches Posted February 22 #4 Share Posted February 22 Ok since we are on the subject of temperature I'm going to ask a question that would have me aghast were it posed in the opposite scenario. We will be on Edge as well...in early June. I am so excited about cruising in a cool/cold environment that I have contemplated sleeping with the door open. Would doing so deactivate the heat in neighboring staterooms like it would the AC in warm climates?
