Summit/Millie/Infinity - question about elevator noise in certain rooms

Anybody stayed in the rooms around this area on Summit/Millie/Infinity - 6131, 6129, 6132 or 6130?

 

Are the elevators making dinging noises when they arrive, and you can hear it in the rooms?

I know that people getting on/off elevators may be talking - but if the elevators are making a loud ding noise every time they show up and you can hear it in the room- that would be old pretty fast.

I've stayed in 6132 and 8125 next to the elevators.   Never heard dinging.

On both the Millennium and Infinity we have stayed in staterooms 6131 and 6132 (both times B2Bs).  We have also stayed in 6129 on the Infinity.  While we could hear very minor elevator bells we didn't find it to be an issue at all.  Not an issue and we have 6132 booked on a B2B cruise this spring.

Thanks both.  We have 6131 booked for 14 days and 16 days on 2 upcoming cruises and just wanted to be sure I wasn't going to be woken up daily by the dinging.

We stayed in 6131 for 14 nights - it never bother us. We actually really like being that close to the elevator to our surprise. The balcony is very roomy. Really enjoyed it on our Panama Canal last year.
