Carnival Mastercard Question

I know there have been other threads about the Carnival Mastercard, but I searched those and could not find an answer to this specific question.

I know the card offers 6 months no interest on cruise bookings (fare only). Does anyone know if this applies to new bookings only or if this also applies if you pay the remaining balance on an existing booking?

And I also know you can pay off your cruise over time with no interest anyway. I'm really talking more about cruises that are closer to final payment than that.

Thanks

This is a question better asked to Barclay Mastercard.

Of course, but I'm not 100% sure the agent understood my questions. 🙂

I was just wondering if maybe someone had experience with this.

No direct experience with Barclay card. But with the Disney Chase Visa, any portion of a payment for a Disney vacation (the down payment or payments along the way) can be financed for 6 months same as cash. I would assume the Barclay card would work the same way.
