First cruise next month.

just a question about the shore excursions.

one we are going on is a jeep drive to a beach and snorkelling.

do they have change facilities or do u wear ur bathing suit underneath?

was planning on carrying a small backpack, when ur swimming where do ur belongings go?

does anyone watch them or are they locked up?

thanks in advance 😀

Which port and which excursion?  The specifics of each excursion are different. So it would help to know the name of the excursion you are inquiring about.

Booked through cruises excursions

Explore Cozumel in an open-top Jeep Wrangler for an exciting scenic drive, and dive into the undersea world for your snorkeling adventure. Your tour stops at a secluded beach where you can relax or swim. Afterward, you will also circle the island as you drive to the wild side and less visited side of Cozumel. This tour takes you all the way around the island so you can see and experience all of the island in one tour. This tour is provided by an operator that has been third-party certified to meet the Global Sustainable Tourism Council's Criteria for Tour Operators.

Highlights

  • Snorkel at an ecological reserve, visit a Mayan ruin, climb a lighthouse, and relax on a beach.
  • Explore a vibrant underwater world teeming with a wide variety of marine life. This tour also features National Geographic Snorkeling gear.
  • Relax or play on a remote, white-sand beach, one of the best beaches in the country.

I wear my swim suit under a cover up dress, bring the least valuables you can (DH has zipper pocket on swim suit so credit card, cash, ID and ship card go in there in waterproof bag).  I don't carry a phone but if you want to there are excellent waterproof phone bags that are on a lanyard (kept it dry in torrential rain in Iceland).
