shilu Posted February 27 #1 Share Posted February 27 Hi, I have booked and paid for 2 staterooms on Spectrum, 27 days to sail date, because RCCL did not have staterooms accomodating 2 adults and one child (told fully booked). At the time there were no interconnecting rooms, now there are. Is it straightforward to change rooms, they are in a much lower class category? I have checked in and got a great boarding time of 11am, will I lose that if I have to check in again? Will I also lose the 300 US dollar onboard credit if they agree to switch rooms? Incidentally, there are several 3 person occupancy rooms available now but RCCL have said I would have to pay 75% cancellation charge for 1 room. Do you hate what you booked enough to pay a 75% cancel fee on one cabin? Yes you would lose your obc if tied to the rate you booked. After final it's not straightforward to rebook a different category ofmcabin, even if downgrading.
shilu Posted February 28 Author #3 Share Posted February 28 Thank you, at the moment they have such a big price drop, it works out better than OBC so I might have to take that up with them. However, I really don't want to lose my checkin time. I suppose I can do something on the day of embarkation?

Maybe check on their roll calls and see if anyone knows the answer.
