Hi, we are on the Dawn on 8th March after having 3 nights in Cape Town first, can I ask if the ship is rigid in its boarding times, we were only able to pick the 3pm time slot but our taxi is picking us up at 12.15, with a less than 20 mins ride to the port, any suggestions where we can hang around until out boarding time plz, ☺️

Online check-in opened on 16 Feb 24 (12 midnight US East Coast Time) at which time, you could have selected a port arrival time consistent with your plans.

 

Port security and check-in are run by local port agents, not NCL.  At this time, they have not been enforcing port arrival times at US ports. 

 

Travel to the port according to your plans. You will likely be able to walk right into the terminal and right on to the ship after going through port security and check-in.

Hi, I was away at the time so couldn't send my husbands photo image through due to him not being with me, also it wouldn't let me check in until all forms filled in which was a little frustrating as I was aware early time slots were filling up, my husband couldn't do anything as he isn't computer minded, this frustrating me no end, so I only completed it once I was home missing out on earlier slots, as its the South African cruise it might be a bit more regimental, i suppose we will still arrive early and have to hang around 😊 thankyou for your reply 😊
