I may be wrong, but I have not seen this question asked before...

We are purchasing a UTV excursion in a tender port.  Since only one person in the party technically purchases the whole vehicle, how does Carnival know who else is on the excursion with you, thereby allowing them to get off on one of the early tenders as well?  It is a Carnival excursion, by the way.

For the excursion, you will go to a waiting area on the ship and be brought down to the tenders together. I would assume that if a vehicle is for 4, you get 4 tickets.

We recently had an excursion at a tender port but only two of our party of three were on the excursion, the third person came with the others to the meeting point, at no point was there a check to see if all members of the party had an excursion ticket.

 

We all tendered together.

Yup, I tendered in Belize a few weeks ago and no one ever checked my ticket until we got to the bus.
