Thoughts on our recent Mediterranean and Italian Sojourn Cruise

We were chatting to a guy on our Trade Routes cruise last year who we understood to be pretty senior in the Viking Rivers hierarchy. We both said we would love to try a river cruise but would never, ever, ever do one unless we could dine at a two-top. He seemed surprised by how much of a deal-breaker it was for us. 

 

We like chatting with folk, but we like being able to excuse ourselves if necessary, which is not easy when sharing a dining table.
