Norwegian cruise - Any free wi-fi on shore (Stavanger etc.)?

It doesn't seem worth paying for the wfi-fi package on my upcoming P&O cruise as I won't need it that often, but wondered whether others have managed to get any free WI-FI whilst onshore in Norway?

There are a few places, but our roaming still works. Last cruise was on Celebtity and WiFi was includes. It was better using our roaming than their WiFi.

A short walk into the town, you will find Starbucks etc with WiFi, but as Zapp said, we just use our roaming. The coffee will probably cost more than the ships wifi😂

Keep in mind that you will be in Stavangar on Sunday, so a lot of places are closed.
