Golf cart rentals in Bimini near the ship?

Arriving on Celebrity Reflection late in June on a Sunday.  The ship only offers Resorts World and the “Sapono” snorkeling as excursions.  I have heard there are golf cart rentals available.  I assume this is a tender port.  Is there a golf cart rental place near where the tenders dock?  What is a ballpark price.  If google maps is correct, it would seem that the most interesting part (in terms of things to do) of the island is south of where the cruise ships are, in Alice Town.  We are not big beach people.  I don’t need to lounge on a beach or play slots in yet another casino 🙂

Thanks for any tips.

Golf carts are about .25 mile walk.  You can reserve or get when you arrive.  Price is ridiculous imo $150 and they are not well maintained.  There is bike rental available.  Taxis are $5.

Bimini is not a favorite port of mine but there are snorkeling excursions separate from ship.  Only thing is they are expensive as the Bahamas always is but you don't have the hordes of inexperienced ship snorkelers who don't know what they are doing.

We were just there this week. We took the trolley from the cruise ship and got off at the second stop. There will be people trying to get you to rent golf carts every time the trolley stops and you can just negotiate until you find one that you like. We paid $100 for a six-seater. We took our part all the way to shipwreck Beach which was beautiful. We picked up some beers and Waters along the way at one of the stores and enjoyed them on the beach

I’ve never paid $150 for a golf cart in Bimini. We’ve done this 8 times. I’ve been quoted $80 and talked them down to $60 or $70 at the most.

And I would not either.  But that was what we were quoted.  Taxi is still cheaper as well as bikes.

There are quite a few posts on social media, reddit, google reviews, TripAdvisor...etc... about the price gouging and poor maintenance.  It's important to let people know this does happen.  Maybe you were one of the lucky ones but you are probably in the minority.  The cheapest 6 seater rents online for $110.  The cheapest four seater is $90.  We had not reserved but saw a sign.  The one the kid was trying to rent for $150 was pretty dilapidated.
