FloridaMac Posted April 11 #1 Share Posted April 11 Virgin Voyages newbie here, so be gentle! On RCCL we've always carried on wine, and always taken it to the restaurants. Never been charged the corkage fee. Is it the same on VV? Do they actually charge the corkage fee if you carry your bottle to the restaurant? Many more seemingly obvious questions to come 😁
Rare CineGraphic Posted April 11 #2 Share Posted April 11 We've never been charged corkage, but that's not to say that it doesn't happen.
Rare cantgetin Posted April 11 #3 Share Posted April 11 Technically they can charge the corkage fee if you bring an unopened bottle. Whether they do or not depends on who, where, how lucky you are, etc. You can open it in your cabin and each bring a glass to any location on the ship with no charge. garycarla Posted April 11 #4 Share Posted April 11 We do two bottles and drink it in the room and or fill a glass to carry when are out and about. You can also carry your glasses of wine to the restaurant. Rest might charge corkage fee.
