Royal Diamond Plus - looking to jump ship?

Hello -

Looking for advice / feedback on making a switch to Celebrity from Royal.  My wife and I have only been on one Celebrity cruise on the Silhouette, back in 2014, but are Diamond Plus members on Royal.  We really enjoyed our cruise on the Silhouette, but it was only our 2nd cruise at the time and we really didn't know what we didn't know.  We remember the dining being amazing and really enjoyed the Lawn Club on two occasions.

Fast forward, we are looking at a 20th Anniversary cruise in the fall of 2025.  It seems like Celebrity now has an all-in option for most room categories and upgraded options (internet / beverage packages) for cabins in the Retreat.

a few questions:

1.  does Celebrity offer an 'unlimited dining option' for the specialty venues (we had this back in 2014, but seemed to be a very limited offering)?

2.  do you need to be in a Retreat cabin for the upgraded internet and beverage packages?  or can you do you that for other cabins?

3.  Concierge Class cabins?  Yeah?  Neah?   Is it a better cabin or a better service offering?

4.  what else should we consider when looking at Celebrity again?

Thanks in advance!

Yes,  They have what is called "Unlimited Specialty Dining (Lunch and Dinner)  Price seems dependent upon the ship and varies accordingly.  Some ships have better / more specialty dining venues than others.

You can purchase the upgraded internet and beverage packages.  They are only included with Retreat cabins.

Celebrity has recently stopped separately selling the basic WiFi package.  If you purchase the package standalone it is the Premium WiFi only.

Other than embarkation lunch being in the MDR, we've never seen any other value to the Concierge Class cabins.  On the Solstice class ships they are the same size as the Veranda and Aqua class cabins.

We choose Celebrity for the more mature experience, less children, and older clientele on the M and S Class ships.  Also itinerary is very important to us as well.

You will be Elite due to your D+ status. You can get the premium wifi & beverages

You get 15% off the purchase of Wifi and 90 minutes of free service.  The 90 minutes do not have to be used consecutively rather it is cumulative.

You get 15% off the purchase of the Premium Beverage Package.  instead of 5 drinks a day free, you get unlimited drinks during the two hour Captains Club Elite Happy Hour each evening except embarkation day.  These drinks are not from the Premium beverage package but are from a select list of drinks.

Here is a link to the current list of Captains Club benefits.
