I understand that sentiment.  I want to get these long distant cruises out of the way while we are both still health and mobile enough to do them.  Personally, I really need to get my act together than get more active and loose some excess weight.  I am going to start a summer regimen as soon as we get home.  In the mean time, as soon as the cruise is over, I am going to start and do my best to eat healthier.

We did alot of roaming, distance walking,  climbing steps, traversing uneven walkways,  snorkeling etc,  We def  took more physically  active excursions,  when we were younger. .

. Although we are  still  in fair shape now,  we are  def a bit lazier

We have less energy/desire to "go go go", and prefer less physically active experiences. Half a day exploring is perfect with a return to A/C  and a cold drink afterward!

Going back a few posts (I've been reading but not chiming in): We were on Summit LA to YVR, the cruise after Panama Canal. We were in 8177 and had Gede as our steward.  Such a nice guy!  We're not experienced cruisers, didn't know what to expect from Concierge Class. Just picked the cabin that looked it would be quiet and pleasant.  And it was!  Anyway, it's been fun to follow along here since at our stage of the game we probably won't get to the Panama Canal. Fun read and photos! Thanks!

Thank you!  I read your other post about your cruise and it sounds like you had a pretty nice time.

Bob, our next cruise is the Apr 2025 Transpacific sailing on Solstice (Sydney to Honolulu).  How about you?  Oh, and how is your wife's recovery coming along?

David

Sharon is doing fine, actually tomorrow we'll find out if she can start putting weight on her right foot. I just booked a Carnival casino offer for a 29 day cruise from Brisbane to Seattle with 5 stops in Japan and a couple in Alaska on April 3. So we'll be around at least the same ocean? LOL

I hope you and Marcie have safe travels and hope to run into you both again. If possible can you send me another door sign with just Bob on it? Thanks and take care, Bob

Hi, Bob!  I will get your custom door sign made up and emailed to you. I'll be traveling to see family this and next week so it probably won't get done until closer to the end of May if that's ok (I need to do a couple test prints on my home printer before sending).
