Ship photos docked at Zadar.  In the second photo, interesting round windows in the floor of the Ocean view Cafe.  In the third photo, stateroom 8141 is second balcony floor from the top and about 5 stateroom this side of where the window cleaning scaffolding is currently parked, or roughly above the the third lifeboat from the left.

Great review and very helpful for those of us on a similar itinerary in a few months.

Can I ask a quick question on entertainment?  What kind of shows were there and what were the timings?  On NCL, typically, the main show was done twice in one evening and you had a choice of attending the early or the late show and could schedule dinner around that if you wished.  Am making dinner reservations and wanted to figure out if there was a show we shouldn't miss out on!

Some of the best excursions have happened when we just winged it.  We had no plans in this port and figured we'd just get off the ship and walk around.  Then we saw the shuttle offer to go into the Old City and that the walk is 1 hrs 20 min without the shuttle, so we went for the shuttle.   After getting off the shuttle, we decided to rent a tuk tuk and we're lucky to get 2 seats without an advanced reservation.  So we had some fun for about an hour and a half touring the area in a cute little tuk tuk.  We shared the tuk tuk with another couple whose hat flew off at one point and Watson jumped off the tuk tuk and ran back to rescue it.  Such a great guy...I think I'll keep him...

Zadar really is beautiful and we had fun walking around the Old City when we weren't riding around in the tuk tuk.  Here are some photos and stand by for video I'm sure you will enjoy.  You might recognize a roman pillar right next to cafe tables...

Thank you!  The shows are at 7pm and 9pm each evening, scheduled around dining times.  We only went to one show and it was the magic show The Magic of Gabriel.  Other shows include Rock City with the Production Cast, pianist Roy Tan, Rikki Jay, Gifford Shillingford, Winner of the BBC1s The Voice Leanne Mitchell, Soundtrack with the Production Cast, Broadway Cabaret, and Flutist Andrea Amat.

The Sea Organ is very unique and fascinating.  Just a short, flat walk from where the shuttle busses drop you off...

The Sea Organ is so very cool!  Thank you for taking the video and letting us all experience it 🎶

That some talent!  I can't wait to see it in person this November on the TA, I will have plenty of time to hang out and then "ninja" my way back to my cabin!  😄🤣

Welcome aboard!!  As the saying goes, let's get jiggy with it!  We left our Rome Hotel Dei Borgognoni via our precooked online SharedShuttle reservation.  Cost was 80 EUR plus tip in a shuttle that we shared with 8 others going to our ship and picked up before us at various locations.  Uneventful ride although the shuttle was late arriving at the hotel.  Rome is crazy busy!  We left at 1100 and arrived port 1215 and through security by 1230 and sitting down for lunch at 1245.  We are in a Concierge Class Balcony cabin so we enjoyed lunch in the San Marco dining room.  I'll post a few photos to include one shot of our port of Civitavecchia with a pretty cool looking ferry, the Main Dining Room, our lunch menu along with food photos.  Beef and salmon dish and both dessert options.  I shall need another cocktail before posting stateroom and some ship photos.  Connie is in very good condition after her long spa days with face-lift.  😀

Looks yummy!  Would you mind sharing the link for the shared shuttle?  We had originally booked a train from FCO but we aren't sure we should go through with that.  We don't want to hassle with the luggage - even though we travel light the old bones aren't what they used to be and having to find room for the suitcase isn't always easy on a train.  Thanks in advance -we get on May 13.

Bar hopping on the ship on our last evening of the cruise.  Do they give out rewards for being able to still fit in at least some of your clothing?  I'll take a rainbow and show in the Martini bar...

So many memories.....my favourite location on the ship 🫣🫣🫣🍸

@CruiseSWE. Cabin 3040 vacated late, so Pablo had the cabin next to it 3044 ready for photos.  He assured me they are the same, except your headboard is on the aft wall instead of forward wall.  The single sofa is a pull out sofa and if not the same length of the bed, it's close to it.  Here are several photos...

Everyone's least favorite moment...the morning we disembark for good.   But wait!  We are excited to have a full day and overnight in Ravenna.  It's already proving to be wonderful.  I'll report back later.  In the meantime, here is information for the moment not to look forward to...

Thank you! Grazie! Tack så mycket!  Very much appreciate it!

So many pictures 😃. We will make it work with the shorter sofa. 🙃 I have a feeling I’ll be the one on the pullout, well at least I’ll have a view. 😎

Have a wonderful day! 😊 Jannike

Sooo...we continue on with an overnight in Ravenna before proceeding to Venice for three nights.  We arranged for a private driver thru our Ravenna R&B for transportation from the port.  We booked Casa Masoli and are very happy with the accommodations.   I thought it a reasonable price at 140 EUR for a suite big enough to fit a whole friggin' Roll Call.  Just think how many times you could split the cost!  It would practically be free!😆  Here are a few photos.  I'll post some of the town later as I'm hoping for some good night shots if we can manage to stay up that long!...

I have to say this is one of if not the best written blog I have followed along on!  You captured my interest with your amazing descriptions, your wonderful humor and FANTASTIC PHOTOS. Thank you thank you thank you.  Really gets me excited for the November sailing in an Aft Aqua cabin!

You also were so kind to go out of your way during your vacation to not only entertain and inform us, but be a sleuth and find out things for others!  Can’t wait for your next blog!!
