Beware of when credits expire.

Recommended Posts

Hi all, experienced cruiser here (10 cruises, 9 with NCL). When you purchase cruise next you have 4 years to book a cruise. (we had friends who went over the 4 years but the credits were still honored). Points on a NCL credit card are good for 4 years as well.  BUT when you receive future cruise credits for a price drop they expire after one year.  (yes it said it in the e-mail). Anyway, be sure to read all terms carefully.  We waited 1 1/2 years to book our next cruise and lost out on $611.00.

Good advice! But just as information: CruiseNext don't expire at all any more.

And should you have future cruise credits it's clearly written both "use before" and "sail before" if you go into your account on a web site (not the app). So good advice to go check those dates if you're unsure.

In other words when you buy something, read what it is that you are buying before plunking down your money.  Good advice for all purchases but nothing to BEWARE about.  FYI, CN no longer have an expiration date so a good portion of your post is totally imnvalid.  THE SKY IS FALLING!!!

Your information is out of date.  NCL changed the policy regarding Cruise Next Certificates some time ago.  They no longer have an expiration date.
