Funsun60 Posted April 23 #1 Share Posted April 23 We will be in Europe with a single time zone and then cruising to UK time zone (one hour different) and then back to the Europe time zone. Does the ship have a central clock to confirm what time the ship is using and does the ship change ship time when there is only a one hour difference? Not a problem to change our watches if required. Thank you
JeffElizabeth Posted April 23 #2 Share Posted April 23 Yes. There are clocks throughout the ship and they usually leave a reminder every night to adjust your watches and phones.

Thank you The official ship time is on the home page of your Navigator App and the ships TV Holland America always changes the ship time to match the local port time. Rare VMax1700 Posted April 23 #4 Share Posted April 23 Yes the ship will change time to match the time zones. Even 1 hour. You will see a reminder on the Navigator app, which also shows the current Ship Time. A small card will be placed on your bed at turn down on night before the time change and it is listed in the Daily, which is the daily program of events. Torquer Posted April 23 #5 Share Posted April 23 The only exception might be sea days where they change times when it is most convenient. For example, If you have a late night in port and the next day is a sea day in an earlier time zone, they might wait one day before changing the ship time to allow passengers to sleep in. We have had that happen a couple times. But on a port day, the ship time will absolutely always match the port's time.
