I too like the carbonara. But I will tell you that it pales in comparison to carbonara in Italy itself. That stuff is amazing.

Thanks for all the replies!  It's making me hungry too. I can't wait to try some of these.   12 more days!

The last time I had this, we were given a choice of either medium rare or medium well.  This looks like the medium rare.

I would love to try this, but I just can't eat beef that isn't well done. Can't handle the pink. I suppose I could get it as well done as they will do it, and make that night the one where I order a 2nd entree......for just in case!

We had it two weeks ago on the Vista and it was a nice ( but very tiny ) filet. Served with eggs and fries. Fries were not nice. Cold. Order some potatoes or hash browns to go along with it as your starch. 🙂

Carnival does soup and dessert very well!

I agree with the soups. Most of them are really good.

Dessert can be hit or miss for me. They all look really tasty, but sometimes what they call buttercream really tastes like they just creamed butter, put some color on it and iced the cake. It felt like I was eating a stick of butter even if the sponge was good. The cakes are probably my most disappointing dessert items. Though on the last couple cruises I was pleasantly surprised by them once or twice.
