2 Nights in MIA

Recommended Posts

We are going down to Miami two nights before we are getting on the Horizon in a couple of weeks. What are the must do's in MIA? We are pretty much open to anything and everything. Some good places to eat? Maybe a roof top bar to hangout. Its just the two of us traveling. Thanks

Head over to South Beach and spend the day there. Plenty of restaurants and bars in that area. If you're interested in having seafood Uber over to Garcias on the New River. Fish is delivered right to their dock behind the restaurant. If you're interested in Cuban food head down to Calle Ocho and stop at either Versailles or La Caretta. Versailles is the most popular Cuban restaurant in the entire country.

Post above is spot on for food. South Beach is worth seeing, but I would not make an entire day out of it. Think of South Beach (Ocean Drive) as our Times Square. Something everyone needs to see but don't focus on it. It is very touristy, and over priced.

If you have a car makes a big difference how much you may want to do. Also depends where you are staying.

Brickell is a nice area as well for the evening, and that is where I would suggest you go for before or after dinner for drinks. Sugar rooftop bar in Brickell City Centre is one best views you can get. Unfortunately, Miami lacks many good rooftop locations.
