The first thing that I noticed from the pictures is that everything looks whitewashed. These buildings used to be yellow…..

Patti hitches a ride on the tram that takes people to their cabanas, and heads towards the far end of the beach. They pass the Island BBQ where the crew is off loading supplies……

 

 

 

They pass by the back side of Captain Morgan’s…..

 

 

Patti has made it to the far end of the beach…..

 

 

The Carnival Vista is loading up another Water Shuttle…..

 

 

 

This is Cabana # 15 which is the furthest one down the beach. They now rent these for $700 which is way too high for our tastes, unless we are splitting with other couples. These used to sell out within weeks of going on sale. A week before the cruise there were still eight left…..

 

 

This is Villa “E”. These rent for $1,000. This is the only one out of the five that has retained it’s colors…..

 

 

They now rent these floating Picnic Banas for $450……

 

 

Patti begins to walk back towards the entrance……

 

 

These can be rented at the Water Sports hut…..

Wow! Spectacular pictures! While Patti was being super productive, we were not.🤦‍♀️ We went full circle, starting at the Ocean Plaza Bar in the morning for coffee (and duck hiding) and to say hi to Jeff of course. After breakfast, we hit the walking track for several laps hiding ducks here and there, then took advantage of the quiet(er) ship while people were at Half Moon Cay and jumped in a hot tub by the Tides pool. Then we just pretty much ate and drank the day away, making Ocean Plaza Bar our last stop of the night.

@Jamman54 you inspired us to book Venezia today! I just started reading your review and we watched a few videos and we're intrigued. We booked a balcony on Lido since our favorite location was available. 😊

Patti continues with her walking tour. Down at this end of the beach is the Oasis. This rents for $2,000 for up to 20 people. This is well worth it if you can put together a large group. It includes your own bartender, cook, and lifeguard. You also have private bathrooms and a large hot tub…..

 

 

 

 

 

Patti heads back into the plaza which is much busier now. The Rumrunners Bar is pretty busy…..

 

 

 

 

If you left your towels on the ship, don’t worry because they have them here…..

These vendor stalls are the only place on the island that takes cash. All other purchases are charged to your Sail & Sign Card…..

 

 

 

There’s nothing like some live Caribbean music…..

It’s time for her tour, so she boards the Island Tram Calypso Tour. She sits at the back which is perfect for taking pictures. Here is her Tour Guide…..

They have reached the Pegasus Ranch. This is where the horse riding excursions take place. They arrive there just as this group is finishing up, so she won’t be able to get any pictures of them in the water…..

We booked Venezia in May 2023, after reading the @Jamman54review and admiring Patti’s pictures, for February 2025. At the time didn’t realize 2025 was so far away, is it 2025 yet? Well we have had and do have cruises in the meantime, but what was I thinking?

All this to say, you two have quite an influence on us. Appreciate you sharing your time and talent.

They leave the Stingray Adventure and travel into areas that are not open to the public……

 

 

 

 

Here is the back of the Island BBQ and the crew break area again…..

 

 

 

They are building more housing. By the end of the year there will be almost a thousand staff members living on the island….

 

 

 

 

They pass the fresh water and fuel storage tanks, and the recycling plant…..
