We are switching for the same reasons. The haven prices have gotten insane. We were booked in the haven for our anniversary next year and got a cheaper 10 day cruise on the Explora ll.

Oh great! we fly through there Saturday on the way to Orlando! Yes Southwest.

Fabulous looking Bloody. I drank way too many of them last Sunday when our local VFW has them for 1.50. However…no bacon….

I guess we’ll soon find out! We fly into Orlando this Saturday for an MSC cruise and back home on 5/12.

I will.I’ll try to remember to come back to this thread! Have a wonderful cruise. We are very excited to try MSC Yacht club. We have been in the NCL Haven in the past and from all I’ve read this will be much better.

I read that too with interest since I’ll be on that ship on 5/5. It wasn’t just one person having issues with him. For a very short thread there were 3 people who were unhappy with him. That makes me think there is probably something to it and I was happy to get the heads up. We’ll soon find out!

I’m sorry that happened to you. I too would be fuming. Thanks for the heads up. We will be on the seashore on 5/5.If I have to interact with him and question what he tells me I will ask for the YC director immediately and if necessary the hotel director. I’m also happy about the heads up for Deck 20! I too Prefer lighter drinks.

That’s good news! We are getting on the MSC seashore in the yacht club in 16 days. You inspire me with all of your wine choices. We are usually merlot, cab or a red blend. Boring. We are going to let our server choose a new wine for us at each meal.I can’t wait. Thanks again for a great review. We will also be leaving a cat at home but he will be visiting at our son’s house where he is king.

I agree. The best meals we had were in LaCucina on the Epic. It was so good we went back a 2nd time using our latitudes reward meal. The steak was wonderful and the lasagna was some of the best I’ve eaten. In the past this was our least favorite restaurant but not anymore.

Not that I am a pot stirrer…. But we are trying another cruise line in May and this was a breakfast picture posted this morning!

We bid into the haven on our last TA on the Epic. They only had the sad potatoes in the Haven restaurant so we ate breakfast in the main dining room. One day the Maitre d’ came over and said we are happy to have you eat with us but can I ask why aren’t you eating in the Haven? I held up the round of hash browns.That may have been one of the last cruises that the hash browns were available.

I agree. The atrium on the Epic is so small. The only time I sat down there was to fall asleep during a movie. We usually sat above and looked down but couldn’t join in the activities.

The food looks delicious. I think we were at every Karaoke.Mainly such good singers….then we had “Screaming Rick”.

If they even get rid of the semi sheer glass surround it would be a huge improvement!

I’m so sorry this happened to you.We have also done a couple TA’s on the Epic. I don’t remember it ever being that crowded. Our favorite bar is the Bliss lounge so I know you almost made it to the can!(We always got there in time to belly up to the bar. By the 2nd day the bartenders knew our names and what we were drinking.)No worries…you won’t be the last person tossing their cookies on a cruise. We loved the Epic but I was leery about the rooms so we bid into the haven. I know. Chicken!!Im wondering if they will be able to make any significant changes to the bathroom layout during dry dock. Looking forward to the rest of your trip.

We are booked in the YC on our first MSC cruise. We aren't getting any specialty dining this time. We are kind of like how much food can we eat? We are looking forward to the pizza!’
