Looking to go on a brewery or distillery tour that is near the port or one that is not too far away using a cab. Thanks in advance for your help.

Nearest is Mount Gay…. Better tour and rum is Foursquare, but this distillery is further away.  Whatever is the selection, best to book one’s tour in advance as spaces are limted.

The cruise line (Royal) has none listed in their shore excursions. Can you recomend a tour provider for either of them?

Never used an external tour operator.  Book guided tour direct with the Distillery, taking any “premium” tasting option.

I second the vote for Foursquare. Absolutely wonderful rum - much better than Mount Gay in my opinion. I won a bottle there and, once I was home and had time to savor it, ended up wishing I had bought a case to take home with me. I can get Mount Gay at the local grocery store but getting Foursquare is just not going to happen here.

Are there stores in CA that stock Foursquare and deliver?   Think there could be 😉

Don’t forget the brands Doorley’s and The Real Mackoy are actually Foursquare distilled and aged, with these two marques being considered by some as being a best bang for a buck.

Also, slightly off piste, the St. Nicholas Abbey Brand is a Foursquare Distillery Rum, with the FS aged bottles selling at almost half the St.A price. Decisions, decisions.
