Redeeming BOA Points?

How close to the cruise can they be redeemed?  We're sailing in two weeks and would like to wait for our statement to post (probably early next week).  Am I waiting too long?

When we redeem points, it usually only takes a couple days for them to post. It sounds like you're going to use the points for OBC? You could "buy" some OBC now to make sure it gets posted and then "buy" some more after your cc statement posts. The points required to redeem are in 5,000 point increments. It doesn't matter if (as an example) you redeem 20,000 today and 5,000 next week. You'll still have a total of $250 in OBC.

Thanks!  The issue is that my husband had to cancel his BOA card due to fraud and this is the last chance we have to use those points for OBC.

I just did this a few weeks ago. Took about a week.  Funny thing is, I never received and e-mail that it was put onto my account. I noticed it there when I went in to log in. Whalla. There is was. Still never received  an email like it said.

We have had to cancel BOA cards twice in the past because of fraud. Both times the points carried over to the new card.

He had finally had it.  He got a card from our bank that gives 2% for everything.
