Reykjavik Haven lounge

Recommended Posts

if its just after you go through security, and waiting for your key card, there is usually a designated area with coffee, tea and snacks for people in suites or the haven, while waiting for the concierge to take you onto the ship. while i cant confirm this to be the case in iceland, it's been consistent for the last 6 cruises we've taken in suite cabins.

Thanks! This is our experience also but I have not been to Iceland before. We will be waiting on two others and would prefer to be inside and out of the elements. It would be great to give them a specific meeting point.

Maybe things have changed, but when I was there in 2022 it was basically a couple of tents. I don’t remember seating in them. I believe it was walk right on.

How was the check-in area at Reykjavik?  Was there a decent amount of space indoors or long lines in the elements?  We will be there in a few weeks and appreciate any info.

When we came across on our Prima TA, I looked around the covered tent building, nothing fancy at all, roped off area presumably for Haven & suite guests ... works against the elements

Check in was chaotic. There was two lines. One for luggage drop off and the other for check in.  Neither was marked and there was not enough port staff to help.  Once inside you have security and then there's a Haven line.  They have a table set up with coffee, juice and some snacks. We didn't have to wait to get escorted in.
