Wow.  This storm is 10-15 miles north of me.  I’m listening to storm spotters, and there is a wedge tornado out there with lots of power flashes.  I can see nasty lightning out my back window.  This one snuck up on us.

Sincere condolences on the loss of your dad, but have a fabulous cruise in his honour.  I’m sure there will be some terribly sad moments but also some great ones as his memory lives on.

Yeah I hear it too. Over at the house we had the three biggest, oldest trees on the street on the lot when I bought the place in 2011. We’ve lost one entirely to an ice storm, and one is perennially fighting for its life through the weather. Good luck over there!
