So back in 1993 when the Dallas Stars moved here from Minnesota, my buddies and I were fired up and saved up for some real deal hand stitched sweaters…. My buddies all went the obvious route with the Mike Modano 9, but not me. Oh no. I was too smart for that. I was all in on who would REALLY be the big star on the roster….. so yeah, I’m the guy in Dallas who dumped a month’s worth of waiting tables into a RUSS COURTNALL 26.

 

 

 

it still taunts me every time I see it the back of my closet since I can’t get rid of it for some reason. 
 

The Jackie Treehorn shirt is DEFINITELY coming with me, though.

I audibly laughed out loud at the Russ Courtnall sweater.  Not many on here will get it.

I have never bothered with buying sweaters with a name or number, as the player invariably gets traded or signs elsewhere as a free agent.  Now, if you had said a Claude Lemieux Stars sweater, we’d have a problem 
 

My favorite sweater?  There was no option for a blank, but there is no name.

So I forgot to mention, I have il Viaggo booked for night one. Figured I’d hit it early in case I love it and want a return visit. Excited to check it out!

The best part of this picture is the HEB bag! I moved away from Texas 5 years ago and I’m still having HEB withdrawals. I miss it with every fiber of my being!

You better hope the Stars figure out how to better handle the puck pressure by the Oilers.  Dallas is lucky it’s still tied right now.
