EDIT: I’m actually doing this math for ONE person; so technically I think you’re right; if you were to get a balcony for TWO people, the portion the casino comps is $1400.

I don’t understand your math, because in my opinion the casino is comping you $1400. If you were to pay for your balcony cabin, you would be charged for two people occupying that cabin even if it was only one.

I enjoyed following along and safe travel home.

. I think you made great choices on proteins on the cruise. Yes portions were bigger than you would like but you were on a cruise! Safe travels.

Thanks; and I think the portions were the same size I eat at home (something I need to work on starting this week when I divy up meat to freeze)

Damn! You’re right! If I were to pay cash; you CAN’T pay a “single” fare. So I’d be paying $1400.

Via a casino comp; it only costs me $100 for the second person (which I get back on OBC)

so losing $700 wasn’t actually a bad deal after all! (If I’d of been smart enough to stay there)

I might do it again then when I cruise my next carnival voyage (which may be over Labor Day; I’m really debating that sailing)

This is crazy; it’s 9:37 and there’s still a ton of people up here in Lido!
I feel bad for the next sailing; it’s going to take them forever to get boarded.

Once I get past TSA; it’s a quest to find the BofA ATM to deposit this cash ($8300)

It’s good to know I have to go through security to get to the ATM first; so I CANT be carrying more than $10,000. So looks like if I wanted to “pure” wash gift cards out of Miami; I can’t do more than $1000 profit ($10,000 cash)

Had a grilled chicken Caesar salad for lunch; honestly I’ll probably eat again at like 4 (we don’t board till 5)

Walked around Terminal D a bit, rode the sky train around, came over to my gate and got lucky and found a spot with outlets; so I’m watching YT and charging my tablet & phone.

might also do a little bit of work too.

Haha I was looking at iFly.com which had bad info…there’s NO BofA here at MIA, lol. So I’ll have to deposit the cash when I get home this week

FYI there are Bank of America ATMs that can take deposits at SFO. A few airside in Terminal 3 (1 close to Amex lounge and one in United terminal after long hallway), one outside Terminal 1 landside, and one landside in International Terminal check in area close to Concourse A security.

One can carry much more than 10K across the border it just has to be declared and possibly proved there is no criminality involved.

I’d rather avoid that kind of hassle for $200

Yes; the only problem is my flight lands at 9pm and it’s a 2 hour drive home and I have to get up at 6:10 to do the reverse of that same drive, to go to work.

Possibly get an inexpensive hotel room nearby work for the night and avoid the additional travel?

Inexpensive and San Francisco don’t belong in the same paragraph, HAHAHHA.

i may not be able to get home (easily) or back to work tommorow (possibly)

huge wildfire has shut down the only feasible route between my house and Bay Area (I580 on the east side of the Altamont pass)

My home is in no danger because I’m 20 miles south of where it’s burning.

In other news; I had lunch..tried to make the healthiest choice possible (without having to eat another salad)IMG_7454.thumb.jpeg.2c70c55785cd82bca025d4172fc23e21.jpeg
