Told By Princess CSR Minors Can't Use Medallion App?

We're sailing next week and are trying to get the boys' (14/17)  access to the app.  I think I got one kid done (booked with me, the other booked with mom), but my wife can't get the other permission.  It keeps saying 'enter valid birth date' even though she has.  She called Princess and the CSR told her that minors can't use the app?!?!?  That doesn't seem right at all.

 

I guess that's yet another thing we have to stand in line for once we're on the ship.

I was able to link the child booked in my cabin with no problem.  I'm having wife power-cycle phone and try again.  Still can't believe CSR said that, but I guess not everyone is trained the same.

Someone (me) booked the older child with the wrong birth year.  I've changed it through the PC, and I guess we have to wait a day or two for the system to catch up to itself because It's still not letting her enter the birthdate.

Problem solved and a lesson (maybe a couple) learned.

The big one is don't call CSRs, they rarely get it right since it's been moved offshore.

Use a CVP or a TA.
