cruisinewbie Posted May 29 #1 Share Posted May 29 We are cruising out of Boston this summer and will be staying at the Hyatt Place Boston/Seaport District the night before. Just wondering how easy would it be to walk to the Cruise Terminal, weather permitting? We will have two 80 year olds in our party, but we will be taking care of their luggage. Is it a lot of going up and down steps? Thanks!

There will be curbs and some uneven streets. Semi industrial but sidewalks. I would say the only variable is their agility and stamina- it’s an easy walk for an able bodied person.
Nitemare Posted May 29 #3 Share Posted May 29 I agree, pretty flat. You can "walk it" on Google Maps street view. That area is being built up FAST, so some things may have changed, but the street levels should be what you see.

Brighton Line Posted May 30 #5 Share Posted May 30 I've walked from the Terminal to the Boston Aquarium, took a cab back after walking all over the place though 😉 no real challenges. Its a steeper walk from NYC Manhattan Cruise Terminal to the 8th Ave Subway, uphill.
