It’s a little sad that it wasn’t heritage listed as culturally significant but we can’t keep everything. 🤷‍♂️

No we can’t. I haven’t been inside the original house but understand the rooms were very small for a building of its era and the design was not suitable for a family of the 2020s. All the houses in that area were built from the 1980s and quite a lot have been either renovated extensively or bulldozed and rebuilt. What the property has going for it is canal access to Port Phillip Bay and its own small beach and jetty.
