Princess Parking in Ft Lauderdale

Recommended Posts

We are going to be driving to Ft Lauderdale to get onto a Princess Cruise.  Port Everglades offers many garages.  Which garage can we park in for Princess? I noticed that Princess sails out of Pier 2.  Do we need reservations to park in a garage at the port? Is there enough parking at a garage to find space? Once parked, where do we go to get onto the ship?

We use park n go. Drop off car and they park. Shuttles pick you up and return you to your car. The only issue would be the transport between cruise terminals.  I would call them and ask

Princess uses Terminal 2 but can also use other Piers when there is more than one ship in port. If this is the case, then the larger ship will be at Terminal 2.

The Heron Parking garage is the one to use if sailing from Terminal 2,  Disney also uses this garage. They do not take reservations.  The only time parking could be a slight issue is there is a huge event at the convention center and people use that to park besides the convention center garage.  I've personally never had an issue.

You drop off your bags, park and then there is a walkway on the 5th floor of the parking garage which will bring you to elevators.  From there you will find the line and area to check in.

That's all for Terminal 2.  If departing from another terminal, it will be different.

Pro-Tip - from personal experience.  Park on the lowest floor you can in the garage.  When you disembark, you will be ahead of all the cars trying to get out of the garage on the above floors trying to merge into traffic.

Also - take the time to pay the parking fee before going to your car if you can
