Have Anyone Use This Company in Flam?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

We have booked a cruise on the MSC Euribia for the Norwegian Fjords.

Our ship will visit Hellesylt, Alesund, Flam, and Kiel, Germany.

We see that Norway Best have a good number of excursions from Flam.

Have anyone use this company before?  Is it a reliable and reputable compnay?

If there are other companies that you have used for excursions and would recommend them, we would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,

Danny

Yes we have booked thru them and would never do so in the future.

We booked a specific tour and 3 days before we arrived they contacted us that the tour would not run due to not enough guides available, but we could be squeezed on another.

Not happy, did not go with them.

Ah OK. Our tour is not specific and I am sure it's very popular.  It's the Flam Railway.  That tends to get sold out so easily.

The other tour we are thinking of doing is the Naeroyfjord Cruise, but I don't think we have enough time to do both since each requires 3 our or so and with their schedule, we really don't have enough time while we are in port.  We don't want to miss our ship.

We are also consider the Stegastien Viewpoint in Flam since it's only 30 minutes.

We used them for the Flam Railway.

MSC Changed our ports around so I had to Cancel & rebook. I received a full refund for the cancelled trip.

Other people on our cruise did manage to contact them and they just switched the bookings without any issue.

That's great to know.  They seems to be very responsive when I emailed them.  All my questions are answer in a timely manner.  MSC charges so much for the railway tour.  It's like me buying 2 tickets from Nrways's Best = 1 MSC tour.  It's just ridiculous.

Apologies for jumping into your topic, but would anyone be able to confirm that Alesund and Flam are not tender ports for MSC? (for the Virtuosa)
