Never heard of ALCANTI, but if you mean ALICANTE, Spain,  no tour is actually needed as the town is fairly compact, and although hilly in parts, much of it is flat.  There is a lovely promenade and marina and several other sights to discover.

Should you decide to go up to the castle, look for the elevator at street level rather than climb up..

Reading some of the past threads for suggestions might be helpful.  Be aware that if using the CC SEARCH tool for past threads of all your ports, correct spelling is essential otherwise you will get no results.  For Alicante .choose from these:

https://boards.cruisecritic.com/search/?q=alicante&quick=1&type=forums_topic&nodes=465

There are of course many other online resouces including the OFFICIAL Alicante Tourist Information website, Tripadvisor, YouTube and many others. when you search for "tourist information Alicante" or "what to do in Alicante"   or similar.

Found the thread and YouTube video extremely helpful. Suggestion that it is compact and walkable to the various sights.

I really enjoy being in Alicante as it is a terrific port for those of us who like to walk.  Just leave the port, head into town to the main street, and turn right  You then walk along a very wide promenade with the large sandy beach on your right, and the city on your left.  When you get near the end of that long Promanade, you can cross the street and head to the long underground tunnel that takes you to the elevators where you ride up to the fortress.  Once up top, the views are terrific, and you can do a lot more walking (some of it involves steps and/or steep walkways) to explore the fortress area.

For us, it is just a fun day of doing very little.  But, if one happens to be there on a hot summer day, put on your swim suit and just spend part of the day on the public beach.  If you do not want to use the down town beach, there are quite a few other beaches in the region.

Spent a few days there last year.  When you leave ship there is a small Ocean Race Museum and exhibition which is worth a look around if open.  There's also one of the yachts which took part which is also open occasionally for visits.

As above a walk along the promenade, a lift up to the castle for views.  The lift only takes you to the lower ramparts, its walking and a climb to the very top.  You can the  walk down from the castle.  The walk starts on the castle access road, but a footpath then leads you down the back of the castle to the main centre, very close to the main market which is well worth a visit if you are there Tuesday thru Saturday.  The fish market doesn't open on Mondays, which is the main highlight.

From there you can wander through the old town back to the port, having a few tapas on the way!

When we were in port for the day last year, we worked out our own walking tour using gpsmycity.com

The website shows the "sights" in the city. You select which ones interest you, select one of them as the starting point and the site then puts them in the right order for a walk. You can then download the route map to a smartphone if you have one (I don't), or use Google Maps to coem up with a printable version. Very easy to use and we've planned walks in Cadiz and Bordeaux using it.
