pdbcruisers Posted June 19 #1 Share Posted June 19 I just found out that I have a FCC for $656. However the credit is in the name of the person I was traveling with. We are no longer together. Royal says that they will transfer the credit to me if I can get verbal consent from the other person. That’s gonna be a problem. Has anyone else done this and is there anything else I can do? Assuming you still have that person’s info, book the sailing in both your names, apply the FCC and then change/remove that person from the booking.

Would that FCC stay with the reservation even though that person is removed? For the OP, if that $$$ is worth the hassle, just gotta suck it up and deal with someone you may not want to (or vice versa). Unless this other person is deceased, then that's a different situation. neverbeenhere Posted June 19 #5 Share Posted June 19 When I was younger, I met Rich Little. I never cruised with him, but he was great at voices. I hope you can find a solution to your issue.

Seems like there were already unpleasant consequences that got OP to today with such a post.
Another_Critic Posted June 19 #9 Share Posted June 19 OP - Is the FCC for a cruise where you actually paid for the other person? If yes, then kindly ask the other person to allow you to use it. If no, then it's not yours to use.

That won't work. It will fall off the booking, they are now tied directly to the guest Edited June 19 by Ourusualbeach

You were lucky that Royal is making an exception and allowui=ing the transfer at all. Without the consent you are out of luck.
