MSC Preziosa for Dec Cruise - MDR Water

Hi

 

We are thinking of booking MSC Preziosa for Dec cruise. Generally we get drinks package if it comes at good price (we don't drink, so predominantly use for soda/coffee/water etc). 

 

At the moment MSC have not offered any special deal for drinks package, was wondering if don't buy drinks package - can we still get "Free" water in MDR for lunch/dinner?

 

We will be embarking from Southampton.

I am in the USA so our booking offerings are different than yours. On the MSC site for the December 13 sailing sold here it is $300 USD (237.14 Pound sterling) per person to add the drinks and one WiFi. When we were on the Preziosa last year, we had the drinks package so had bottled Still water with our meals. I don't recall if there was tap water available.

Where you embark is not relevant. If you book with MSC UK you will get free water (and free coffee). If you book elsewhere you will not get it.

Note that the free bottled water and coffee for US, Canadian and UK bookings of EU sailings is only during lunch and dinner hours.  The booking summary actually now states "...in dining room".

What about in general apart from bottled water? Is there a dispenser for tap water and ice abailable in the buffet?

Yes I believe so, most cruise ships have free water & ice dispenser in buffets & reading about Preziosa buffet is open 20 hours a day
