This morning Craig and I hit the onsen one more time, the girls were onsened out. 🤣 I decided to wash my hair there which was a unique sit down experience. Pic of the entrance. No pics inside. sorry😜

We gathered the girls and made it to hotel breakfast. Here are pics of the food set up.

We packed our bags, got in a cab to Kyoto Station and said farewell to our lovely onsen hotel.

Got to Nagoya and found space to store our luggage. I’d recommend reservations.

Many exhibits didn’t allow pics. We watched a movie that is only shown at the Park. Very sweet!!

Fortunately most of it was indoors so we didn’t melt. Had some snacks and caught the Limono magnetic train back to the subway.

Retrieved our luggage from the Nagoya train station lockers and made our way to the platform. Seems an unheard of delay for the bullet train is happening. Guess we are getting into Tokyo later than we thought. More sake please!!🍶

Well the bullet train was awesome, our train was only five minutes late!

Staying at a different place (ryokan wasn’t available) and it’s only a few blocks away from the ryokan 😁

Made it to our apartment that is three blocks away from the ryokan. We are up on the ninth floor. It’s cramped but does the job for one night before our flight and it was a third of the cost of the ryokan. Here’s a view from outside our front door.
