Tokyo Station at Yaesu Exit for the Bullet Train!!

We wandered through the downstairs mall of restaurants and stores. Cat got a Starbucks and read her book. Sky was in quest of ramen…again!

Craig and I split some gyoza and beer. All was delicious!

Stopped to pick up some bento boxes and drinks. Made our way to the train platform.

Queued up then found our seats. We are on the side that we might see Mr Fuji🤞thx Aki for booking our tickets!

Bento box is okay. Rice balls, shumai, slice of pork and omelette. Comes with the smallest bottle of soy sauce ever!

So far, Mt Fuji is feeling shy and hiding in the clouds. Aki said most of the snow has melted. Here’s a video of bullet train noise and out the win

Just passed Nagoya station which is where we will get off on our way back to Tokyo to see Ghibli Park. I told Craig “ I thought it would be a small town” but it’s quite city-like.

After a long, HOT 12 minute walk from Kyoto Station we made it to our hotel. Kinda confusing but we made it to our room.

That was soooooo relaxing!! Sky, Cat and I wore our spa outfits and put everything into a locker. I sat and poured buckets of hot water over me to clean off. The hot springs took some getting used to but I feel like butter now. These are pics from their website and how it looks in real life👍

Being naked around other women took some getting used to. Afterwards we sat in wonderful massage chairs. So nice!! Free ice cream snacks too😁

We ordered Ala carte but there was an option for omakase (chefs choice) starting at $94.00/person. Service was great.
